Finishing door panel body work and primed

Since this door panel was so rough, I sanded a lot more of the out paint and body fill with 36 grit sandpaper. All the surface rust was then wire wheel brushed away. With the rust holes patched, I started putting some layers of body putty on which extended to the front fender ding. While that dried, I removed the door handle and keyhole. Patching small rust holes in passenger door with JB weld

Of course the preferred professional way is to cut out rusty thin sheet metal that has holes. I thought of trying something different.
